How heavy is your gate?
The easiest way to determine the “weight” of your gate is to use a fish scale (the weighing type) and hook it to your gate, then open/close your gate by pulling on the scale and seeing what the “weight” is. Make sure do it a few times.
TOP TIP
It always important to keep your rails clean and free of debris, an easy way to do this is to cable tie a scrubbing brush to the bottom of your gate, either side of your front and back roller.
